The Seabird Resort

The Seabird Resort opened in 2021 and features architecture inspired by oceanfront estates, breathtaking ocean views, and integrates seamlessly with the surrounding community.

The resort is part of a 2.8 acre development near the Oceanside Pier, the biggest oceanfront development in San Diego county in more than half a century. Included in the design are 226 guest rooms and suites, an outdoor pool, sophisticated library, a restaurant and oceanfront bar with locally-farmed cuisine, a world-class spa, and nearly 20,000 square feet of meeting space.

The resort is locals-oriented and cultivates collaborations with San Diego county artists, companies, and vendors wherever possible. Immediately upon entering the resort, guests are met with 289 artworks curated by the Oceanside Museum of Art by a total of 123 Southern California artists. Private surf lessons are offered by resident experts and The Shore Room, the Seabird’s ocean-view bar, offers spirits distilled by small batch Oceanside-based distilleries and cold-pressed juices from the San Diego-based Suja Juice.

The Seabird contributes greatly to the San Diego county community, is a developmental feat more than 10 years in the making, and demonstrates top-of-the-line design and collaboration skill. The resort creates a timeless landmark, takes full advantage of the breathtaking natural views, and reaffirms San Diego county as a top tier destination.
