Pure Project Balboa Park

This brewery tasting room near Balboa Park is representative of the culture and brand of Pure Project, a San Diego brewery with a large and fast-growing following.  The concept of this place is the marriage of warm elements of nature to the clean and hard-edged palette of the existing building, enlivening the Bankers Hill corner with comfortable hangout space and a pedestrian-friendly edge.

Design elements featured in the space include repurposed slabs from a fallen Torrey pine that meld with quartz & resin, old-growth grapevines as custom light fixtures, existing concrete columns integrated with tea tree wood that nods back to the genesis of Pure Project in the tropics.
