Puesto Cerveceria Mission Valley

Puesto Cerveceria is a 10,000-square-foot restaurant and craft brewery designed by local firm BASILE Studio. With both a fabrication floor and a mechatronics division at Basile’s downtown design studio, nearly every facet of Puesto was custom designed and built in-house by the design group’s skilled artisans.

Puesto combines BASILE’s signature custom fabrication utilizing natural materials such as walnut, steel and brass combined with the vibrant hues reminiscent of Mexico City. Upon entry, the design show-stopper is a kinetic entry chandelier fashioned from 20-foot aluminum tubes. Engineered utilizing an animated wave pattern, the chandelier complements the steel rod colored LED “light show” wall.

Other project highlights include a glass and brass hexagonal liquor shelving display, brass and walnut leather rod bar face and a fragmented bathroom “fun house” mirror with undulating brass wall. A signature BASILE bar element in the main dining room includes gigantic liquor shelf system that lowers 3000 pounds of alcohol at the push of a button along with integrated software that animates in a wave motion when not in use.
