Poinsettia Park

The City of Carlsbad has made transformative improvements to Poinsettia Community Park based on extensive community input; designed to promote a healthy lifestyle for residents of all ages and abilities. The improved park provides numerous new and engaging amenities including pickleball courts, an enlarged playground, and a multi-sport arena.

The new playground, more than twice the size of the original, features unique amenities including colorful play mounds, swing sets, spinners, and interactive climbing elements. The design surrounding the arena utilizes permeable pavement with bleachers and picnic areas for spectators to enjoy on any given day. A new pickleball complex fills a significant void in the city; accommodating the rapidly growing sport.  Spaces of various shade and openness within the park will promote intimate gatherings and large events event’s alike.
