Coast Air Center Hangar and Flight School

A brand new world-class flight school and hangar at Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport replaces eight deteriorated buildings and adds new life to one of the busiest airports in the U.S. for small aircraft.

The project saw the creation of a new two-story 9,000 square-foot building featuring a Fixed Base Operator (FBO) with an executive lounge, pilot lounge, office space, and conference room that can be accessed 24 hours a day on the first floor. The flight school on the second floor can accommodate up to 75 students at a time with classrooms and private study areas. The project also added six new hangars totaling 35,000 square-feet to house an impressive fleet of aircraft for instruction as well as private storage.

The project greatly enhances the airport and will serve the community for years to come.
