Azalea Park Neighborhood Identification Sign

The Azalea Park neighborhood identification sign at Poplar Street and Fairmount Avenue was just completed in 2018 — at long last.  The community started working on the plan in 2004 (although we began thinking about it in 1997), applying for grants and inviting everyone in the neighborhood to give input.  At long last we have our fabulous art signage and all agree that the result made it worth all the hard work and is beyond our wildest dreams.

Special thanks to our former Councilmembers Toni Atkins, Todd Gloria and Marti Emerald. Without their support we would never have seen this fabulous neighborhood art signage.
