1929 Cable St., Ocean Beach

1929 Cable Street in my opinion is a beautifully designed building.  It has clean lines, nice roof extensions, good colors, and looking at it makes one feel good.  It replaced a tired 1950s structure that was past the end of its useful life.  It is a large building, but is broken up to look like smaller shops in keeping with existing buildings in Ocean Beach.  The building was designed by Lee Hope.  After it was completed I had to meet the person who created such a building, so I did and found him to be a very nice man.  This may be the best building in Ocean Beach.
