White Labs Tasting Room

This tasting room with 30 beer taps is unique because it is located in the laboratory facility that makes the yeast for home brewers and large breweries all over the world. The design of it is based on educating people about the how various yeasts effect the taste of beer.
The tasting room takes it's design cues directly from the laboratory by using custom light fixtures made of glass beakers, test tubes used as beer tap handles, back lite art depicting the DNA of various yeast strains, large scale art of lab equipment and educational panels describing the process of making yeast.
You can see into the lab from the tasting room and they give tours every day.
This ain't your average tasting room! Check it out at night....the lighting is great!
