This 0.33 acre passive park is located over vacated portions of Falcon and West Lewis Streets in the Mission Hills community. It is adjacent to a beautiful open space canyon, providing a wonderful interface with the surrounding urban neighborhood of older homes, newer higher-density residential development, and the unique commercial core. Native plantings, walkways, a pictorial kiosk showing the diversity of local birds, as well as a clever paving grid of the local street names, all blend to make this long-awaited, resident-inspired vision a "template" for more canyon-edged parks throughout the city of San Diego's older communities.
