Package 8 - Bachelor Enlisted Quaters

The work of BEQ Package 8 includes the demolition of existing structures and the design, engineering and construction of four new MCON Bachelor Enlisted Quarters at Camp Pendleton, CA. Each structure is a 101,610 SF multi-story reinforced concrete masonry unit with concrete foundations and floors and seam metal roofs per BEAP. Each has 200 two-person rooms. The design was aimed to create a campus-like facility that achieves the feeling of a community. The parking structure accommodates 1,120 vehicles and 80 motorcycles in addition to 415 off-street parking spaces as well as 51 on-street spaces. The project site plan met all AT/FP standoff requirements. The project achieved LEED® Gold Status.
