All the money dumped on the Miramar College Campus has turned it into a kind of architectural zoo, a cacophonous collection of architectural egos screaming for attention like howler monkeys. Even at a zoo like this, however, it's rare to find a chimera-building that looks so much like it was composed by designers who don't like each other and can't communicate. Is that what happened? Or was it an architect-chameleon with attention deficit disorder and a split personality? Or was it the proverbial camel that started off as a horse designed by committee?
