Francesca's Sister Restaurants Side-by-Side in Del Mar

Situated side-by-side in the Del Mar Highlands Town Center, Mia Francesca and Davanti Enoteca, of Chef/Restaurateur Scott Harris' Chicago-based Francesca's family of restaurants, offer an escape for their guests through the creative interior design of each one.

Mia Francesca has been a Chicago institution for twenty years. The restaurant serves traditional regional Italian fare in a casually elegant Trattoria ambiance. Antique chandeliers offer warm lighting, which illuminates the hanging signature photographs taken by renowned photographer Paul Elledge, which are found in each Mia Francesca location.

Davanti Enoteca, with its rustic exposed brick walls, re-purposed farm wood and communal tables, takes its cues from the rural cottages of Italy. It is a lively, casual gathering place, day or night. Diners enjoy the authentic Italian dishes they would find in the Italian countryside, but with a contemporary, creative twist.
