The installation is the first of its kind in San Diego County. Fashion Valley’s living wall provides 800 square feet of growing space for 4,000 individual plants. The living wall will accentuate Fashion Valley’s shopping environment by incorporating natural notes into the mall’s façade and will demonstrate the potential for sustainability and environmental stewardship through the use of green building practices within the retail industry.
