Autumn Terrace Affordable Housing / Mixed-Use

Autumn Terrace serves as the cornerstone for the second phase of redevelopment for San Marcos' oldest, most crime-ridden part of town - the Richmar neighborhood. This development turned what was once 59 single-story apartments built from 1947 to 1953 on seven small, irregular-shaped parcels. The dilapidated structures were overcrowded and considered the most blighted in the area. One "home" was built in an in-ground pool structure.

This development has transformed a crime-ridden, dilapidated neighborhood into a LEED Platinum certified pedestrian-oriented, mixed-use neighborhood that includes 103 units of low income
