The 2011 Orchids & Onions Silent Auction will take place on October 27, 2011, as part of the 2011 O&O Awards Ceremony. San Diego Architectural Foundation (SDAF) will again be offering a unique assortment of items including architectural books, sketches, photography and sculpture, art, jewelry, event tickets, spa or salon packages, restaurant and retail gift cards, design services, and other apt items.

Unless otherwise noted, all items will be available at the 2011 Orchids & Onions Awards Ceremony & Silent Auction on October 27 at the Horton Plaza Event Space (3rd floor above Sam Goody). The Orchids & Onions Silent Auction is an invaluable way to have your products and services exposed to the O&O Awards Ceremony audience of 400+ design, and other professionals. It is also a great way to support the San Diego Architectural Foundation (SDAF), as it is a significant element in the fundraising goal of the annual Orchids & Onions Awards Ceremony. All proceeds from the auction benefit the SDAF, a 501c3, non-profit organization dedicated to education, and the promotion of outstanding architecture, planning and urban design throughout the San Diego region. As the premier built environment advocacy organization in San Diego, funds raised enable SDAF to continue its diverse and educational programming, including Orchids & Onions, PechaKucha Night, Inside the Design Studio, the Community Vision Award, architectural tours, film screenings, exhibits, the administration of scholarships and more.

Your contribution will be prominently displayed on the night of the Orchids & Onions Awards Ceremony and Silent Auction, as well as on our auction website, which will enable pre-event bidding on all items and exposes your donation(s) to thousands more who visit the site regularly. Preferably, each item offered will have an estimated minimum value of $100.
