Beauty on the Rocks

With the recent grand opening, Esther Williams dream came true. She desired to offer a unique salon experience and with the help of designer, Logan Brion, that dream came true. Brion likes to work with remnants of metal, fabric, and wood. The expression of this is apparent throughout the space. The vibrant accent colors and graffiti-inspired wall finish provide a nice contrast to the exposed brick and concrete floors. The facade has a new feel with the addition of horizontal lines. The space Logan Brion has

The space Logan Brion has created for the Beauty on the Rocks salon is truly remarkable and one-of-a-kind. The complete reconstruction, remodel, and redesign of both the indoor and outdoor space reflects the true passion and commitment Brion has for the art of interior design. His natural eye for style and ability to utilize a wide variety of unconventional materials successfully balances to create spaces with a cohesive and unsurpassed standard of design. The Beauty on the Rocks salon itself is an amazing work and through Logan Brion's design it has been given a personality of its own... A personality that not only appeals to its target market but magnetically attracts anyone off the street. The Beauty on the Rocks salon along with the current and future design work of Logan Brion is not to be missed out on.

This space was less than a

This space was less than a thousand square feet. The location previously housed a confused mixture of office spaces. The main priorities were to make a bold exterior statement with an even bigger explosion of color in the interior. The area in which the salon is located is slowly reaching it's potential. That factor was taken in to account when making a a grand statement on the exterior and adding to the environment. The inspiration was a snapshot of Brooklyn. It's a mix of old and new, but comfortable and inviting. The design allowed for creative exploration and attention to details that would normally have been blown off for time or budget constraints. I am proud of this work, and thank whom ever nominated 'Beauty on the Rocks', for an Orchid.
